My passion for advocacy within the healthcare system came from a personal experience when my dad had to undergo a quadruple bypass, followed by intestinal cancer surgery. The true need for advocacy was enormously evident.

Overnight, I became the voice for my family, taking in medical information and processing it from doctors, nurses, surgeons and then relaying it to my parents. At the time, I had little healthcare expertise and was disheartened by the lack of resources and guidance. When I discovered CHAI, I was eager to come on board to help bring direct access to such resources when people are faced with medical adversity.

With my innovative expertise in a multitude of entrepreneurial businesses and investment ventures, I’m thrilled to bring my leadership skills to a great team. After building and scaling a successful company from the ground up, I hope to bring resilient leadership, outstanding communication, and business acumen to our activities at CHAI. I believe my true passion to help others comes through in my unique business approach.

Located in the Cochrane, Alberta area with a young family, I strive to create a balanced quality of life, enjoy outdoor activities and sports, all while being an active member of the business community. As COO, I will continue to further the exponential growth here at Canadian Health Advocates nationwide.

I’m grateful to be a part of the CHAI team, and am excited to work together to bring reassurance and understanding of the healthcare system to patients and families across the country.
