Angela Hunt, RN

As a Registered Nurse of 18 years, I have had the privilege of working across multiple areas within the healthcare system including obstetrics, gynecology, oncology, corrections and palliative care. This has given me a strong foundation in nursing care and one of the most valuable things I have learned is how to be present and supportive with my patients. I strive to demonstrate this by being a good listener, being a shoulder to lean on and by providing a voice when advocating for them.

From a young age, I have been passionate about helping and encouraging others, and trying to make positive changes in people’s lives. My childhood dreams of becoming a nurse came true after moving provinces and graduating college as a Registered Nurse. Originally from Nova Scotia, I moved to Ontario as a teenager and have resided here for the past 30 years.

In today’s world, it is easy to fall through the cracks within our healthcare system. From professional and personal experiences, I can relate to patients and their families when trying to make tough decisions as medical issues arise. Resources are not easily attainable or widely known to everyone and I am here to help you so that you don’t have to face challenging healthcare experiences alone.

I enjoy educating, helping and guiding patients and their families. There is nothing more rewarding as a nurse than making a positive change in someone’s life. I look forward to working alongside you and your family.

When I am not working, I spend a lot of time with my family, creating original comfort spaces, crafting and sewing.
